Today we had the house inspected by Greg Lilly. Greg found nothing which might require our attention; considering the house was built just last winter, this was no surprise. Overall, he was impressed by the quality of the build, the electrical system, and so forth. It was a necessary step prior to obtaining financing and closing on the house.
Every time we look at this place, we are attracted by something we hadn't noticed before. The pending installation of the appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave and dish washer) will fill those holes in the kitchen and give us a more complete look of this incredibly spacious room.
One more step is down. At this point, there is little for us to do but wait. Wait for the appraisal, wait for the underwriters to approve our loan application, and then it's on to the closing!
