Our Trip to Maui (2008)--Day 15
3/31/2008

We had settled into a nice routine during our two weeks here; walking the beach in the morning (Patty is always the first one out the door as I like to sleep a little later but am almost always up by 7 a.m.), suntanning, sometimes an activity, a light lunch followed by a quick nap in the afternoon if we're not out and about, dinner, shopping, hot tub. It had been an incredible time. We'd taken part in some fun activities--Lanai, Hana, the Zipline, and we'd dined at new places we'd never considered in past trips which turned out to be especially good. This trip had reaffirmed Maui as our favorite island--by far. I thought we might miss Oahu, but we hadn't--not one bit.

To the Pioneer Inn for breakfast--it's our favorite breakfast spot--good food and service. We got in one final day of tanning, and decided to head back to Canoes for pipis later in the afternoon. There we met Keenan, our co-worker's son. After chatting with him for a bit (he seems pre-occupied with the Minnesota Twins baseball game on satellite TV), we wished him well and headed over to Dairy Queen for a treat. After watching the sunset from our lanai, I walked over to the Livewire Cafe to check in at nwa.com and print out our boarding passes. Tonight was concluded with one final visit to the hot tub and falling asleep listening to the ocean.
