Bubba, one of the two polar bears in captivity at the Lake Superior Zoo, died at the age of 19 last Wednesday. This is a loss for all of us who had enjoyed his playful antics over the years. Preliminary reports show his death was caused by liver disease.
Rest in peace, Bubba.
